Thank you to all our supporters for allowing us to use the venues for Curiad Bangor Pulse 2026 free of charge so money can go to our charities. Our donations page remains open for a short time following the festival.

The Belle Vue (Tuesday 28th April)

A traditional pub with a beer garden. The Belle Vue hosts a popular weekly open mic night every Tuesday from 9:00 p.m. to midnight.

Blue Sky Cafe (Wednesday 29th April)

Blue Sky Cafe & Taproom is a cafe on Bangor High Street serving a range of food and drink including plenty of vegetarian choices. They have a wide selection of wines, craft beers, and spirits.

The Crosville Club (Thursday 30th April)

The Crosville Social Club is a members club which also hosts various events. It has a cafe which opens every morning, and also serves Sunday lunches.

Rascals Cafe Bar (Friday 1st May)

Rascals has a downstairs area for sitting and playing pool, with an upstairs venue “The Loft” for live music. it’s a great space with its own bar, and has been used by Bangor University Rock and Metal Society for a number of their successful events.

The Nelson Arms (Saturday 2nd May)

The Nelson Arms is a friendly pub which is supporting the local live music scene. They host open mic nights on the second and fourth Friday of each month, and have live bands on the first and third Thursday of the month. In addition they hold regular DJ nights.

The Skerries (Sunday 3rd May)

The Skerries is Bangor’s live music venue with a reputation that brings along well known performers such as Grant Sharkey and SandraiseR. It supports local bands and musicians putting on gigs, and holds an open mic night on the first Sunday of each month.
