Geoff and Andy Beaumont have been playing jug band/ blues music together ever since they were kids – it’s a family thing. Geoff was a founder member of the Ginger Jug Band which was locally famous in the Kent region in the late 1960s and Andy played with the Rub-a-dub Jug Band in Anglesey in the 1970s. In 2000 they decided to gig formally as brothers and played at Broadstairs Folk Week for many years – and more recently – at other festivals such as “Folk on the Farm” and folk clubs. In spite of them living far apart they have made a concerted effort to keep doing gigs where they can.
